ALTER

What is an alter? What does it stand for? Any bible verses for it? Can it turn problems into praise?

Alter is a place where we bring our issues to God. It can be anywhere but we typically think of it as the front area of churches between the stage area and the first row of the congregation. The first a in alter is to ask God to take it by praying. The l is to let it go. The t stands for trust Jesus with it. The second a in alter stands for accept that it is not for you to carry. The r stands for release it. When we understand God has taken care of the problem though still there is much easier to bear and we start praising.

Onto the Bible verses. Ask is found in James 4:3, Isaiah 7:11 are among the many verses telling us to ask God. Let go is found in Ecclesiastes 7:18 and Philippians 3:13, there may be others. Trust God is found in many verses including Proverbs 3:5, and Philippians 4:6. Accept is found in Isaiah 60:7 and Romans 8:15. There may be other verses. Release is found in Deuteronomy 15:2 and Luke 23:16. There could be others. The word alter is found in Psalms 89:34 and Ezra 6:11.
