Powerless

What is powerlessness? It is the inability to do something or change something. I think we are all powerless in some area of our lives. I heard an acronym in church today on the word powerless. It is pride, only if...., worry, escape, resentment, loniness, emptiness, selfishness, and separation. I struggle with pride, worry, escape ( as in mindless scrolling on my phone), resentment, feeling alone, emptiness, selfishness, and separation. What do you do when you feel powerless?
